மதுரை மீனாட்சி அம்மன் [Madurai Meenakshi Amman]

Meenakshi Amman was the daughter of the Pandya king in Madurai and was an incarnation of the goddess Parvathi. She was born with three breasts, and it was said that the extra one would disappear when she met her true love. This came true when she met Shiva, and they got married. Their marriage is celebrated every year at the Meenakshi Temple.
